Afraid to Say Black

Best Blogger Tips

Why do individuals keep saying They want to start a civil war? They who? The racist? They can't do anything without us. Don't buy into it. Check your racist friends, family, coworkers.

If the Black (or whatever ethnicity) person is sitting calmly minding their business and your friend is ranting and raving at them- are you going to vilify the quiet person for your friend's behavior? Calm your friend, stop the war. Stop this nonsense before things happen that will make existence worse.

As for alllivesmatter, If all lives matter, what's the problem with saying Black? Is it not included in the ALL?
Society reacts as if the usage of the word black is a profanity.

An automatic sign of exclusivity. No, you (society) excludes yourself in your sensitivity and sometimes your sense of superiority.
It's like a fire in the back of an apartment complex, firemen arrive and starts putting water on the apartments in the front. What good does that do?

At the moment We, Black Americans, are the crisis. We're literally f'in on fire, more coals are tossed on our heads with uncalled for deaths, and we are ignored. Jumping up and down shouting Hey, Black Lives Matter over  here!! And all we hear is "alllivesmatter." With no space in there to see the Black part. If all lives matter- what's wrong with saying Black?

When I look in the mirror I see me- Black me. Is it wrong for me to say, I matter. My Black life matters? Or is it just wrong for me to acknowledge it in public? Is it wrong for you to acknowledge your (whatever color) in public? Feel free. No one ever said nor showed the masses, for eons, that your life didn't matter.

Sometimes, it's simply not about everyone at that given moment, doesn't mean it will never be or that your White life will be forgotten, ignored, mishandled, or belittled. It just means we have to remind ourselves that we matter- even if it's only to ourselves.
And for those of other ethnicities who get it, see it , embrace and join with US, especially at the cost of losing family and friends , thank you from my very being.
