Without another word, she pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Josiah in the middle of the head and it seemed to crack and fall apart like an egg. There was none of that cute little one hole stuff they show on TV and Quinten covered her mouth in horror, shock and sickness before falling to her knees. The loudness from the shot seeming to echo in her ears as the force of the door being pushed open caused her to fall flat on her face.

Manny stepped over Quinten before lifting her, walking over and laying her to the couch.

“Don’t look.” He pressed her back down. “They are both dead. I heard the two shots. I was just about to knock on the door when I heard the first and the second came right after. Who were they?”

"The Hong Kong Connection" is a legal thriller about a gutsy female attorney who takes on high ranking International officials. It's a taut, rollercoaster of a ride from New York to Palm Beach to Washington D.C. to Hong Kong. The plot is expertly woven, the characters persuasive, and the dialogue snappy and spot on.
