Five more days and I will be...Over the hill and on a roll for better days......
Monday-August 4th will be my birthday. I will be 50...Yeaaaaah! Whoop, whoop, whoop. What a time for celebration. For my first year of life God gave me loving parents and a big brother and sister. I was the baby. For my 25th year God gave me the ability to be a loving parent. I am no longer the baby I am the mother. God has given me great gifts. For my birthday the big 50 God has promised me
these gifts.
1. Daughters that have grown to be and will continue to be gracious, honorable, talented, loved and admired women of God.
2.Great friends. Rather personal, church, or fellow writers/bloggers, I feel blessed for the advice, camaraderie, and inspiration.
And the biggest gift (drum rolls, confetti flowing in the air blown by the sweet breath of God)
The desires of my heart: to be a blessing to others, a good trustworthy friend, a great knowledgeable writer, to have finances taken care of and rest and peace of mind.
Though the devil tries to blow out my candle, and bust my balloons, God has promised I will have my cake and eat it too. Chocolate is my favorite, how did He know?

You are truly an amazing and talented woman. Your blessings are worth more than gold and silver...your beautiful daughters and other family members your church family and your writer/blogger friends that have true "crit". Come on into 50 the water is fine.
Happy pre-birthday!! August is a HUGE birthday month in my family- my husband and two of my children share August birthdays.

August is a birthday month - my daughter included.
But happy birthday to you. 50 is the new 40 - at least thats what Oprah says. I actually look forward to that age because it seems to be the time of life when people are truly comfortable in their own skin.
So, let us know how that feels, please.
